After an early downpour on Sunday we were able to enjoy sunshine at the Union Street Party where we gave out seeds and chatted to people about Time Bank.
This afternoon, being Wednesday, we will be at Union Corner from 2 – 4 pm. Our list of things to do includes: planting bulbs in the garden (such a lovely show last year); sorting out the Seedstore after Sunday; organising fabrics and thread for the Joyce’s Quilt project; and making an apple sock. Free short courses at Union Corner for Stonehouse residents available from the WEA and Stonehouse Action, pop in and find out more.
On Friday we are having a cream tea to raise money for McMillan Cancer Support (Hope that qualifies as part of their world’s biggest coffee morning). Homemade cakes and scones welcome in return for Time Bank hours.
Then on Saturday we will be returning to the Bere Ferrers Apple Fest – we had such a great time there last year. Meet up at the station if you want to come along.
